The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime left the 10 people arrested in connection with the trafficking of narcotics from Latin America to our country in prison.

The quantity of the drug was introduced through the cow's skin.

Among those arrested were two Venezuelans and a Colombian. While the Albanians kept their mouths shut in the court session, the opposite happened with the foreigners.

One of the Venezuelans claimed that he came to our country to grow hair, not to do dirty work.

The other Venezuelan emphasized that he had come to buy clothes in Albania and Turkey.

While the other foreigner, the Colombian, asked for a phone in order to inform the family about what happened to him.

The group was hit thanks to investigations by SPAK, which says it has kept the investigators for several months under surveillance and wiretapping. Thus, he was able to determine that in the role of financiers and organizers of this activity were the citizens Klajd Birçe, Geis Fejsullai, Aldi Zonja and Artion Çaushllari.

The drug, which was brought into Albania through the skin of a cow, was then extracted by chemists from Venezuela and Colombia in the laboratory in Qereke in Fushë Krujë. The auxiliary materials and the places from which it was then distributed for the local and European market were two flats in Tirana and Durrës.

SPAK has managed to seize 48 tons of cow skin in which narcotics were hidden, which according to the interceptions were brought into Albania in the month of September and at the beginning of November.

During the operation carried out on Friday evening, on November 15, narcotics, narcotic mixtures, monetary values ​​and other items such as telephones or other materials necessary for the establishment of laboratories were seized.
