Iva Hoxha , who for 30 years has been one of the most beloved figures of Albanian Radio and Television, came this week in a confession to Euronews Albania.

She talked about her career and life where she also showed dramatic moments in her work.

" After the riots of 1997, there was a state of emergency and the television was guarded by the police, and I remember when Azem Hajdar was murdered in 1998, many people entered the television and put pressure on my colleagues in the news studio, telling them that to talk about the things they wanted and were against the government. That day I was in the office and the television was surrounded, so I decided not to go to work because I was afraid, but after the minister made a statement, I returned to the television. It seemed to us as if the television was hijacked and that day as I was terrorized, I didn't even do my makeup but went out on the announcement saying that this is our house ", said Iva Hoxha .
