KFOR issues "detected" police fraud: Two troops fell into the abyss
KFOR helicopters

There were two officers who fell into the abyss during the search for cannabis plots in the remote areas of Dukagjini and not just one as reported by the Police in its announcement.

In addition to 54-year-old Rrok Frroku, another effective person was injured and KFOR informs us of this fact. While covering the assistance provided by helicopter, KFOR explains through a post on social networks that 2 Albanian police officers were escorted to the Trauma Hospital.

The Kosovo KFOR helicopter was used to get out of the abyss, as our country did not have the necessary means to make this possible.

"Today (May 28, 2022), following a request for assistance from the Albanian authorities for the medical evacuation of two Albanian police officers, who suffered a serious accident in a mountainous region in northern Albania, the NATO-led KFOR Mission sent A Black Hawk helicopter from the Eastern Aviation Corps of the KFOR Regional Command at the scene of the accident. The medical evacuation crew, assisted by the high performance of the Black Hawk helicopter in take-off rescue, safely evacuated the two injured officers. "After the stabilization, the injured personnel were transported to the Tirana hospital for further medical assistance." it is said in the post of the American embassy.
