Investigations continue for the murder of 35-year-old Albanian Nevila Pjetri, whose body was found around 02:00 on Sunday along the Parmignola stream about 500 meters from Marinella.
Investigations continued throughout Sunday. The goal was to whitewash the 35-year-old's last hours and the movements she had made in the area. For this reason, security cameras were seized up to the place where the body was found.
No arrests have been made in connection with the murder. The Albanian woman's husband said that he did not know that his wife was prostituting. There were visible signs of an attack on the 35-year-old's back.
Investigations have made it possible to find the car with which the woman had arrived at the scene. And it was precisely these details that pushed the police to go to the place where the girl practiced her "profession". In the territory of Sarzana commune, they found the first witnesses and thus were able to identify the victim.
According to the investigation, the murder did not take place at the place where the body was later found, in the bed of the Parmignola River in Sarzara, Italy. According to investigators, the woman was last seen on Saturday evening too late as she was riding in a white car driven by a man.
It was her friends and colleagues who reported the car in which the victim got into and drove away. Italian media write that there was someone reported that he had also seen a man pulling a body towards the stream. It is therefore suspected that it may have been a client of the woman who killed him, possibly during an altercation. In the following hours, the causes of death will be clarified. Wounds were found on the body of the 35-year-old, as well as on her face and legs.
