The Albanian athlete, Denis Gjura, lost his life in an accident that happened on Wednesday evening in Patra, Greece.

Greek media write that the 25-year-old was traveling with his vehicle when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the traffic divider in Patra, losing his life at the scene.

His love for the sport was great as can be seen from his post in 2020 when he wrote "with guns on his feet and a thirst for success that never ends..."

His Facebook profile is filled with photos of him attending matches and training sessions.

Friends of the 25-year-old have expressed their pain for the heavy loss. " My champion, may God accept you. Goodbye, my good brother ", writes one of his friends on social networks.
