The General Directorate of Taxes has filed a criminal complaint with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for the company "Birra Tirana" owned by Irfan Hysenbelliu. 

During the inspection that the Taxes have made in this subject, a series of irregularities and legal violations have resulted and that there were obligations that reached the value of about 188 million ALL or 1.7 million euros.

According to the announcement of the Directorate of Taxes, during the control exercised during the months of January-April 2022, it was found that the company "Birra Tirana" sh.a. has sold products without tax documentation in the amount of ALL 18 million, found in flagrante conditions.

The announcement also states that the arrears of the subject "Birra Tirana" sh.a. related to Value Added Tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, while social and health insurance contributions of employees have not been paid since 2019.

In order to collect the arrears of about 1.7 million euros, the General Directorate of Taxes has decided to block the accounts and other assets in the name of the company "Tirana Beer".

The General Directorate of Taxes within the framework of the implementation of functional tasks for the creation, provision and collection of tax revenues as well as strengthening the fight against fiscal evasion has exercised control over the entity "Birra Tirana" sh.a., during which they have resulted in a series of irregularities and legal violations.

The control in this subject was initiated after he had tax arrears, amounting to 1.7 million euros, as well as because he had a denunciation received through official channels at the Tax Administration.

During the control exercised during the months of January - April 2022, it was found that the company "Birra Tirana" sh.a. has sold products without tax documentation in the amount of ALL 18 million, found in flagrante conditions. This entity has evaded tax and customs duties based on inventory differences in:
1- Raw material Malto;
2- Ready product;
3-Packaging;
4- Goods without tax documentation (tax invoice) at distributors.

Regarding the detected violations, DPT has filed a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor's Office of the Tirana judicial district.

Ndërkohë detyrimet e prapambetura të subjektit “Birra Tirana” sh.a. lidhen me Tatimin mbi Vlerën e Shtuar, Tatim-Fitimin, Tatimin e Mbajtur në Burim, ndërsa kontributet e sigurimeve shoqërore dhe shëndetësore të punonjësve nuk janë paguar që prej vitit 2019.

Detyrimet e këtij viti duhet të ishin shlyer brenda tre muajve të parë të vitit 2020 dhe ato përfshinin:

Rreth 127 milion lekë TVSH e paderdhur bashkë me gjobën për shkak të vonesës, nga të cilat rreth 82 milion lekë TVSH e pashlyer dhe 44 milion lekë gjoba për tejkalim të afateve;

Rreth 15.6 milion lekë detyrime, që burojnë nga tatim-fitimi, bashkë me gjobën për shkak të vonesës;

Rreth 5.6 milion lekë Tatimi në Burim, bashkë me gjobën për vonesat;

Rreth 39 milion lekë detyrime të papaguara të sigurimeve shoqërore dhe shëndetësore të punonjësve, bashkë me gjobën përkatëse për vonesat.

In total, the liabilities of "Birra Tirana" sh.a. amount to about 188 million ALL, or about 1.7 million euros. For their collection, the General Directorate of Taxes has decided to block the accounts and other assets in the name of the company "Birra Tirana" sh.a.
