The head of Taxes in the Elbasan district resigns, here's the reason

This Friday, the head of the regional tax office for the Elbasan District, Indrit Karaj, resigned. He held this post for two years.

It is suspected that the reason for his resignation was the clashes of several months with the head of the General Directorate of Taxes, Ceno Klosi. Rumor has it that Karaj is expected to take on an important new assignment.

It is not yet known who will replace him at the head of Elbasan District Taxes.

Indrit Karaj completed his studies in Italy and holds the degree of "Doctor of Science". Earlier, he held other important positions in the state administration.

He was appointed head of the Regional Directorate of Taxes of Elbasan in February 2020.
