The influencer from Shkodra, Klevisa Ymeri, has been sentenced to one month's detention for causing an accident with fatal consequences in Croatia, where a brother and sister lost their lives.

The accident happened on Tuesday around 20:30 on the D-8 road, in the area of ​​Ratac near Sllano .

Ymeri was driving a BMW SUV with Slovakian license plates at a speed of almost 170 km/h when he collided with the car of the young people who died at the scene.

But who is Klevisa Ymeri:

The 29-year-old is known on social networks, where she has a number of profiles on social networks, where she takes photos and videos and gives makeup advice. She had 33,000 followers on TikTok and almost 14,000 on Instagram, but her profiles are currently closed.

In addition to social networks, where she publishes photos/videos from her luxurious life, the young Albanian is also known for the surprise she gave to her friend in Trento prison in Italy in 2022.

She, along with several other Albanians, surprised the prisoner for his birthday with fireworks and a loudspeaker.

"We want to show him that we are by his side despite everything. The idea was mine and his brother's. We ran away because we didn't know if it was legal. It is a maximum security prison and such noises can cause problems. That's why we escaped", she explained.

This is not the first time that Klevisa has faced the law, as sources indicate that in 2017 during the period he was in France, he was arrested for drug trafficking together with another person. The boy accompanying him was convicted, while Klevisa was released after a few months and brought to Albania. After France, the destination Klevisa chose to move to was Italy.

It is not known if he will be saved this time 'peacefully' as Viktor Xerek, the brother of Stjepan and Katarina, who lost their lives in this accident, has shown how he feels after the tragedy and asks for help to punish the event.

"We don't want our family's tragedy to be in vain, we need the public's help to raise awareness of the problem, the same thing happens all the time on our streets. My brother and sister are not the only ones who have died, but let them be the last," he told Dubrovnik INsider.
