Banner: "We are wild women"

" Don't touch my freedom ," " It's not a crime of passion, it's femicide ," " We are wild women ."

These were the strong messages conveyed by dozens of women who gathered in " Mother Teresa " Square in Tirana, protesting against violence against women in the family and society.

They also marched in front of the prime minister's office building, demanding justice for the women murdered in the country.

Also present at the protest were representatives of the LGBT community, including activist Xheni Karaj.

Activist Zhaklina Lekatari called for more attention from institutions towards Albanian women and girls.
