The testimony of 56-year-old Mikel Ndoj , who stabbed his 24-year-old daughter and a passerby on Monday morning in the city of Durrës, has been revealed.
Ndoj expressed remorse, emphasizing that he was in a serious psychological state and under the influence of alcohol.
As previously reported, the cause of the conflict was the 56-year-old's attempt to reunite with his family after 6 years of separation, which was opposed by his daughter, Jessica Ndoj.
According to the testimony, Ndoj went to his daughter's work to talk, but the situation escalated when he was faced with his daughter's harsh reaction.
However, the 56-year-old says he was in a serious psychological state and does not remember in detail what happened at that moment.
During his testimony, he expresses regret and remorse for the incident and apologizes to the girl and boy, whom he says he didn't even know.
"I went to the girl's workplace because she wasn't answering my phone. I want to reunite with my family, but the girl has had a negative impact. She didn't want to have anything to do with me anymore, she ignored me, ignored me. I went to tell her that I wanted to talk to her, but she told me that I don't want to have anything to do with you, she doesn't exist for me anymore. At this moment, my vision went dark, I said, let's go outside for a bit so we can talk. She pushed me. I don't remember what happened. There was also a boy there who intervened at that moment. While he was trying to get me away, he was also cut by the knife. Then I ran away and hid somewhere near the fire department. That's when I realized what had happened. I was in a serious psychological state and had consumed alcohol. I'm very sorry for what happened. I deeply regret it. I apologize to the girl and the boy who was injured. I didn't know the boy at all. I don't know "What can I say, I feel very bad," the 56-year-old testified.
The serious incident occurred yesterday morning, in neighborhood no. 12 of the city, and was caused by the refusal of the daughter Jessica Ndoj to join her father.
The girl's parents had divorced 6 years ago due to domestic violence and the 56-year-old had fled to Italy.
It turns out that he is a person with a criminal record in the Italian state for violence, an offense for which he had served several years in prison.
However, he recently returned to reunite with his family, which was opposed by the young woman.
That was enough for the 56-year-old to go to the girl's work, get into a conflict with her, and then stab her.
Meanwhile, a passerby, citizen Onard Memlika, intervened to prevent the incident, but ended up injured.
