A group of residents of the former Këneta area, New Durrës, protested this Wednesday to ask for help, as their homes continue to be under water, while more rainfall is expected in the afternoon.

According to them, the drainage channels are blocked, while the water level has reached about 30 centimeters in yards and inside houses.

According to residents, the water is not receding and no one has intervened to remove it from the streets and homes.

"I have a sick daughter at home, I don't have electricity because if there is a power outage, I will lose electricity. We have been flooded 3-4 times, we have not received compensation, we just want to escape. I left my daughter on the sofa, she is sick," said a citizen.
