The National Inspectorate of Territory Protection arrived in Dhërmi on Wednesday afternoon to demolish a hotel without permission. The hotel will be demolished on Thursday.
But in the statements given to the media, residents say that the operation undertaken by IKMT is politically motivated.
Surrounded by IKMT is a hotel owned by Fjorentin Bel, who, according to residents' statements, was the counter in the last box of Kudhes village, which gave victory to Fredi Beleri in Himare.
Beli's parents, his mother and father, tell the media that their son is innocent while calling on Prime Minister Edi Rama to step down.
"He gave the order. Why what did they do to him? Why did my son go to the commission? He neither insulted nor insulted them? We say long live, we don't deny. And now lower and lower in summer," Fjorentin Beli's mother said to the media.
The race for the Himarë municipality was won by the candidate of the opposition coalition "We win together", Fredi Beleri, who is currently behind bars.
He secured 3840 votes while his political opponent from the pink camp Jorgo Goro secured 3821 votes.
