New details have been revealed from the assassination recorded today against the former deputy of the Socialist Party, Armando Prenga, in Fushë Kuqe of Kurbin.

It is known that the author is 29-year-old Fatbardh Ismajli, who fired a pistol at the former MP's vehicle. Prenga was driving his vehicle on the Laç-Patok axis, when he was shot three times with a pistol. 

No one was injured from the shooting, as the Police are still looking for the 29-year-old man for his capture.

Today's crime is said to have its origins during the electoral campaign and during the counting of votes for the May 14 local elections.

Sources inform that the father of the author of today's assassination, lawyer Islam Ismajli, who was engaged in the campaign for the "Together We Win" coalition, was raped on May 15 by Armando Prenga's brother, Arben Prenga. In the report that Ismajli made to the police, it is reported that Arben Prenga and one of the SP commissioners punched him in the ear, in the ribs on the right side of the body.

The intervention of the police was needed so that the conflict did not escalate further, while Mr. Ismajli himself clarified that the officers did not accompany any of the people involved in the conflict.

"I left the CEAZ at 03:00 in the morning on 15.05.2023 as I was tired and was replaced by another observer and I appeared again around 10:30 on 15.05.2023 at the CEAZ No. 15 in the city of Laçi where a new box was counted and the counting showed that the number of participants in the election did not match the number of ballots counted as there were two more ballots.

At this moment I raised my finger and asked the zonal commission to verify this claim that I had and the commission was busy with other work as it was not paying attention to me. At this moment the counting committee started to put the papers in the envelopes and I told them not to put these papers as it should be verified by the Zonal Commission and at this moment the observer of the Socialist Party told me that we have passed the two extra sheets to the citizen candidate Behar Haxhia for whom I was observing.

Në fakt komisionarët nuk i mbyllën zarfet dhe un po qëndroja në këmbë duke pritur reagimin e komisionit dhe në këtë moment më afruar një person i cili me sa kam u dijeni i është vëllai i shtetasit Armando Prenga i cili quhet Arben Prenga dhe më ka gjuajtur me grushte në pjesën e veshit në anën e djathtë dhe në këtë kohë më ka goditur në pjesën e brinjëve në anën e djathë të trupit tim si dhe më ka tërhequr nga xhaketa edhe vëzhguesi i partisë socialiste të cilit nuk ja di emrin që ishte i ulur në krahun tim të djathtë. Un u përpoqa që t’i zmbraps sulmet e tyre dhe në këtë moment ndërhyn shumë persona ku pjesa me madhe ndërhyn për të ndalur konfliktin.

Me sa mbaj mend më ka goditur edhe një person tjetër të cilin nuk e kam mundur ta fiksoj. Me sa kam dijeni shtetasi Arben Prenga dhe personi të cilin nuk e fiksova janë pjesëtarë me lidhje gjaku të fisit të kandidates, shtetases Majlinda Cara. E gjithë kjo situatë është e filmuar nga kamerat e ambienteve të brendshme të KAZAZ-së Nr. 15 në qytetin e Laçit.

Pas kësaj situate njerëzit na kërkuan që të dilnim jashtë KZAZ-së dhe në këtë moment në largimin e personave që më sulmuan ka ndërhyrë policia e Shtetit në mënyre shembullore për këtë çast dhe ndërkohë komisioni dha urdhër që të largoheshin të gjithë personat, vëzhgues dhe gazetarë jashtë ambienteve të KZAZ-së. Në fillim dolën personat që më sulmuan ndërsa punonjësit policisë më kanë thënë që të qëndroja në një cep që ata të zbatonin urdhrin për të nxjerrë personat e tjerë nga KZAZ-ja.

Unë në këtë kohë iu drejtova komisionit zonal zgjedhor që të bënte njoftim dhe kallëzim penal në Komisariatin e Policisë Kurbin dhe u drejtova punonjësve të Policisë se cili person do të më shoqëronte mua pasi personat që më sulmuar ndodheshin në oborrin e KZAZ-së dhe pse ata i lanë që të largoheshin këta perona e nuk i kanë shoqëruan në Komisariat.

Dua të sqaroj se nga ana e Policisë nuk është bërë ndalimi i këtyre personave ku veprimet e tyre janë të regjistruar në kamerat e KZAZ-së Nr.15.Un prita disa orë që Policia të kryente veprimet hetimore dhe më pas u paraqita vet në Komisariatin e Policisë Kurbin për të bërë kallëzim”, thuhet në kallëzimin e Islam Ismajlit.

"what's the problem?" and they responded with the words "Don't get involved in the campaign because you may have consequences" and at that moment they left without telling me anything else", declared Ismajli.
