The person you see in the photo above is 28-year-old Nikoll Sherrniku, from Fushë Kuqe e Kurbini, known as a member of Ervis Martinaj's group and a close friend of the latter's murdered nephew, Brilant Martinaj.

The court of Tirana has today assigned him the measure of "prison arrest" in connection with the assassination recorded on the evening of March 12 against the bar of Fation Murat, where the bartender of the bar, Mimoza Paja, was accidentally killed.

In connection with this event, he is accused of committing the criminal offense of "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder". From the investigations, it was found that Nikoll Sherrniku received foreign license plates in the German state, brought them to Albania, and made these license plates available to third parties (authors), who then stored and used these license plates in a vehicle type "BMW" series 5, on the day of the event.

But Nikol Sherrniku is in prison, as this is not the only crime he is accused of.

He was arrested on August 17 of last year, because according to the Police, he was trying to commit an assassination. He was caught in the Toyota armored vehicle parked near a building in Kune, Shengjin, together with the 34-year-old driver, Flutura Berisha, and a 15-year-old minor. The police seized an automatic machine with cartridges ready for firing, two combs with cartridges, 2 radio receivers and transmitters, both of the Police, as well as the armored vehicle in which these citizens were moving.

But, on the day he was arrested, Nikoll Sherrniku broke the "house arrest" measure as he was accused of another. He was under that measure in relation to his implication in the event that happened in December 2021, where the former Police employee, citizen Xuliano Prela, was shot dead. Brilant Martinaj, who had won his freedom before he was killed in the Fushë Kruja overpass massacre, has also been charged with the murder of the latter.
