The late Artan Lame launched investigations into the alienation of properties on the coast of Durres

A letter signed in April 2022 by the then general director of the State Cadastre Agency, Artan Lame, turns out to have been the starting point of the investigation that led to the discovery of the suspected scheme of alienation of state properties in the area of ??the former NB Frutore, on the coast of Durrës.

In the document, ASHK requests an in-depth investigation after verifications found that a property with an area of ??27,550 square meters was registered in a private name, while in the official photographs of the 2017 registers it appeared to be state property.

The document published by A2 shows that the property card had been changed out of chronological order, which raised suspicions of illegal interference in the cadastral registers.

Subsequently, ASHK imposed restrictions on the property and requested that measures be taken for the full verification of the documentation, leaving open the possibility of filing a criminal complaint with the Durrës Prosecutor's Office.

Four years later, the investigation has led to the imposition of 12 security measures against former officials of the Durrës Mortgage and other persons suspected of being involved in the scheme of forging documents and alienating property.
