A man wanted by Albanian justice has been arrested in the United Arab Emirates with the aim of extradition to our country.

It is about 39-year-old Amar (Dritan) Shkëmbi, wanted as part of Plaurent Dervishaj's criminal group that participated in the assassination of prosecutor Arjan Ndoj and Shijak's "Rrumi" in 2019.

"Referring to the conversations carried out by the users of 'SKY' between August 13, 2019 and September 23, 2019, between the citizens Julian Meçaj and Amar Shkëmbi, the provision of the conditions and the precautions taken by the perpetrators for the execution of the murder of Arian Ndoji stand out. and Pëlumb Muharremit (Aleksandër Lahos). He is charged with the criminal offenses of "Murder of public officials", attempted murder, "Murder under qualifying circumstances", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons and ammunition, "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by the group crininal structured".

Mbi bazën e informacioneve të marra nga Policia e Shtetit, homologët e Emirateve të Bashkuara Arabe kanë organizuar dhe finalizuar operacionin policor të koduar “Abu Dhabi”, në kuadër të të cilit u bë kapja dhe arrestimi me qëllim ekstradimi drejt vendit tonë, i shtetasit:

A.(D.) Sh., 39 vjeç.

GJKKO i ka caktuar këtij shtetasi masën e sigurisë “Arrest në burg”, për veprat penale “Vrasja e funksionarëve publikë”, mbetur në tentativë, “Vrasja në rrethana cilesuese”, “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve luftarake dhe i municionit, “Grup i strukturuar kriminal” dhe “Kryerja e veprave penale nga grupi i strukturuar krininal”.

Në vitin 2019, në autostradën Durrës-Tiranë, pranë mbikalimit të Shkozetit, është tentuar të vritet me armë zjarri shtetasi A. N., me detyrë prokuror i Prokurorisë së Rrethit Gjyqësor Durrës, i cili qarkullonte me automjet, së bashku me 2 shtetas të tjerë. Si pasojë e të shtënave është plagosur rëndë dhe ka ndërruar jetë në spital shtetasi A. M. (shoferi i prokurorit) dhe ka mbetur i plagosur prokurori, shtetasi A. N.
