Greek police arrest 27-year-old suspected killer for hire

An Albanian citizen has been arrested by police in Greece after allegedly taking part in the attempted murder of a 27-year-old man.

A few days ago, a young Algerian man was shot 14 times in a car with three people in it, but bullets did not catch him. Then the men in the car got down and raped him, and then drove away.

The Algerian was taken to hospital, where he is still in serious condition, while police have identified and arrested one of the suspected perpetrators, who is Albanian.

The latter is alleged to have been paid by an Algerian national to kill the target, and the cause is suspected of disrupting drug bargains.
