The names of the two officers arrested in Tirana who were taking bribes from citizens for the easing of measures have been revealed.

The citizens were put in handcuffs: 

- Inspector Andi Çelmeta , 36 years old, with the duty of General Patrol in the "Shqiponja" Special Force Sector, near the Tirana Local Police Directorate;

- Inspector Hashim Xhixha, 26 years old, with the duty of General Patrol in the "Shqiponja" Special Force Sector, near the Tirana Local Police Directorate.

Sources indicate that they were caught in the act of taking 100 euros from a driver, in order to avoid his punishment with a fine for violating the traffic rules.

After investigations by AMP agents, a situation was staged in which a vehicle was speeding beyond the permitted limits in the presence of two policemen, who stopped it. During the performance of the standard procedures, the AMP infiltrator gave 100 euros to avoid being penalized. Both "Eagles" policemen have accepted the money, and at this moment it is for their arrest in the act.

During the personal check, the amount of 1420 Euros, 8800 Lek, as well as 4 mobile phones were found and seized from these employees as material evidence.
