Even the European Union has supported Albania for the cyber attack by Iran. Through a statement, the EU condemns the behavior that violates the cyberspace that tends to threaten the stability and security of Albania.

The EU is ready to support Albania for cyber security by taking concrete steps together with NATO.

"The European Union, together with NATO and international partners, expresses full solidarity with Albania and concern after the malicious cyber activities of July. The attack directly targeted critical infrastructure and affected the delivery of public services to people and businesses in Albania. We strongly condemn such unacceptable behavior in cyberspace, which runs counter to accepted norms of responsible state behavior, repeatedly upheld by all UN Member States.

Such destabilizing and irresponsible behavior that aims to threaten Albania's integrity and security, democratic values and principles, and tends to undermine democratic institutions and societies in general, is unacceptable.

The European Union, together with NATO and its international partners, is ready to support Albania's cyber resilience based on our existing cooperation on cyber security.

In line with the EU Cyber Security Strategy and Strategic Compass, the European Union is determined to prevent cyber attacks through increased resilience and by responding decisively to cyber attacks against the EU and its Member States, and is committed to help build cybersecurity resilience in candidate countries and elsewhere, using all available EU tools. We continue to monitor the situation carefully and are ready to take further steps, where necessary, to support Albania" - said the statement.
