The two brothers Indrit and Gentian Beqiraj have revealed new details in the prosecutor's office about the murder of Manec in Sukth of Durrës on May 18, 2022.

The director of the Durrës police, Skender Hita, stated yesterday that the two brothers had received orders to kill Arben Merkur, known by the nickname Maneci, and had provided the conditions for his murder. The two brothers were ordered by citizen Kevin Zeneli alias Kevin Suçi. The police say that this murder happened a short time later, but it is still not fully clear who committed this murder. 

It is suspected that the motorcycle that the two brothers were driving at the time of the collision near Koxhas on the Tirana-Durrës highway was used by the killers of Manec. The owner of this engine was called on Monday, October 3, in Tirana, where the defendants are now for investigation, and was asked about the vehicle and its ownership.

But he stated that the vehicle had passed through 3 sales hands before the murder of Manec. The third ones who used it were the Beqiraj brothers, who, it turns out, were not involved in this murder. The abduction of one of the Beqiraj brothers a few days ago on the Tirana-Durrës highway has revealed a series of crimes, leading to the arrest of 15 people.

Five accomplices have been declared wanted, while one of the crimes they committed was the murder of Aleksandër Laho, also known as Rrumi i Shijak. Another unsolved crime is the massacre on "Don Bosko" street in Tirana, where according to the police, the wrong person was killed.
