Structured criminal and drug trafficking group, Xhuljano Hoxha, extradited from London

31-year-old Berat resident Xhuljano Hoxha has been extradited from London to our country.

According to the police, he was declared an international wanted person after the Special Court of First Instance Against Corruption and Organized Crime, in April 2024, assigned him the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment", for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization, or a structured criminal group", for the case discovered and cracked down on 10.11.2022, in the village of Drenovicë, Berat district.

Investigations conducted by the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime revealed that Xhuljano Hoxha, in collaboration with other persons, was involved in the cultivation of narcotic plants.

As a result of cooperation between Interpol Manchester/United Kingdom and Interpol Tirana, his arrest and extradition to Albania became possible.
