Fire on the Saranda-Blue Eye road! 'Mesopotam Agrotourism Resort' completely burned down

A powerful fire engulfed the Mesopotam Agrotourism resort this morning, on the Saranda-Syri i Kaltër road, completely burning it down.

According to preliminary information, the fire broke out around 05:30 this Sunday morning. The flames spread throughout the resort premises, causing significant material damage and completely burning down the structure.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Investigations and verifications at the scene are expected to determine what caused the flames.

Mesopotam Agrotourism was considered one of the most important tourism investments made in recent years in the Mesopotam area. The resort was built about three years ago and has become a well-known point along the road connecting Saranda with the Blue Eye.

This morning's fire has left behind extensive material damage, while so far no injuries have been reported.
