The former General Director of the State Police, Gladis Nano, left his office at noon on Wednesday. Nano appears in the video getting into his car, as he also waves to the media.

Gladis Nano was fired on Wednesday. The news was announced by Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi after today's government meeting, who underlined that the dismissal is related to the non-fulfillment of Nano's objectives.

" The dismissal is related to the non-fulfillment of the objectives that were assigned to the General Director and mainly to the situation of the last few days, " said Minister Çuçi. For the moment, the duties of the General Director of the Police will be exercised by the Deputy General Director, Tonin Vocaj.
