The Commander-in-Chief of the Police, Tonin Vocaj, has requested the reopening of betting during the hearing that Prime Minister Rama is holding on sports betting.

"From 2019 onwards, in cooperation with AKEP, 6 thousand links dedicated to gambling have been blocked. This activity in the countries where the servers are located is legal and in many cases international cooperation is impossible. We suggest the revision of the gambling law for the formalization of online sports betting also due to the fact that this activity is legal in other countries. Games of chance like casinos should not be allowed", said Vocaj.
