The Special Court returns the SASPAC file to SPAK for further investigations

After more than a year of preliminary hearings, the Special Court decided this Monday to reject the Prosecution's request to move the SASPAC case to trial. 

The GJKKO decided to return to SPAK, for further investigations, the file against the former director of the SASPAC agency, Ilir Beqaj, as well as against all other defendants.

For this file, the only ones being held in custody are Ilir Beqaj and Ermal Kurtulaj. Prosecutor Elida Kaçkini has until October 30 to complete the missing investigations.
