The Special Court has sentenced the former judge of Elbasan, Zamira Vyshka, accused of corruption, to two years of probation. Also, the court decided for him "Removal of the right to exercise public functions", for a period of three years.

As for the lawyer Ilir Pashaj, who is suspected of giving an amount of 4 million ALL to the judge, the GJKKO gave 2 years in prison, which due to the shortened trial goes to 1.4 months.

While the other two defendants in this case, Taulant Romallari and Andrea Tirana, GJKKO sentenced them to 1.4 and 6 months in prison

Immediate release was ordered for all the defendants, after they have served their prison sentence

Vyshka was arrested last July, on the suspicion that he had received 4 million old lek in order to benefit from a reduced sentence for the citizen Juliano Musai, accused of wounding.

interceptions

SPAK interceptions and observations revealed judge Zamira Vyshka and lawyer Ilir Pashaj who were arrested for bribery and corruption in Elbasan. In the intercepts, it is added that the arrested Xhulio Musaj, accused in 2019 of theft, asked for a reduced sentence of 6 months in prison. The family members offered the amount of 200,000 Lek with the negotiator Ilir Pashaj, while the judge had asked for twice as much, i.e. 400,000 Lek. They were ready to give the requested money to ease the security measure against Julio Musaj, but when the amount was inflated by the judge, they did not accept. The wiretapping showed that the family members of the arrested person told the lawyer: "It's better that he eats 400,000 Lek in prison than the judge."
