The Supreme Court orders the Prosecutor's Office of Fier to investigate former Socialist MP and businessman Koço Kokëdhima for Abuse of powers", "Concealment of income", "Provoked bankruptcy" and "Cleaning of proceeds of criminal offense or criminal activity" provided by articles 164 , 180, 293, 287 of the Criminal Code.

WebLajm learns exclusively that this decision was taken by the criminal panel on Wednesday and forces Fier's prosecutor's office to investigate the criminal report that had been closed for several years.

On October 3, 2022, this case was registered with recourse in the high court after the Appeal of Vlora had canceled the investigation against businessman Kokëdhima approved earlier by the Court of Fier.

It turns out that he was criminally charged 5 years ago by two citizens Fatmir Merkaj and Shenasi Jaupaj.

They won the right in the Court of Fier, but it was the Appeal that decided to close the file against Koço Kokëdhima.

With this decision of the Penal College, the former number one of the socialist party for the South, known as the Internet and Media businessman, will have to be investigated.

Koço Kokëdhima held the position of deputy from 2013 until May 9, 2016 when the Constitutional Court removed it as incompatible with his activity as a businessman.

Today, Kokëdhima enjoys the exclusive rights of the Super League, which bears the name of his company Abissnet Superiore, while he has often been engaged in positions with the Albanian Football Federation.
