The High Court has dismissed the appeal filed by Sali Berisha and Jamarbër Malltezi regarding the decision of the Special Appeal that upheld the security measures issued by the first instance court on September 13.
The decision was made by the judging trio Sandër Simoni, Sokol Binaj and Ilir Panda.
We recall that the Court of First Instance revoked the security measure "house arrest" against Berisha on November 27, while a few days ago it rejected Jamarbër Malltez's request to revoke his measure.
Both requests were reviewed by Judge Flojera Davidhi.
Today's decision on the appeal of September 13 does not affect the security measure against Berisha, who is currently under the measure of compulsory appearance. Another appeal initiated by the Special Prosecution Office requests from the GJKKO to return him to house arrest, a hearing that has been postponed to a later date.
