The Court of Appeal upholds the decision for Alda Klos, sanitary worker Rozeta Dobi and her son

The Court of Appeal has upheld the decision of the Court of Tirana, for Alda Klos.

The former official of the Ministry of Finance together with the nurse Rozeta Dobi and her son Javier Dobi were declared guilty of "theft with serious consequences" in collaboration.

"On 15.12.2022, the Operative Hall of the Tirana Police was notified that the apartment of a citizen with the initials AK was stolen on "Kosovarë" Street, in the "Orion" building. For the commission of this crime, her cleaner with the initials was charged R. D as well as the latter's son with the initials H. D", the decision states.

In December 2022, the former senior official, Alda Klosi, reported to the police the theft of hundreds of thousands of euros in the apartment on Kosovar street in Tirana. In January 2023, police arrested Rozeta Dobi and Javier Dobi, mother and son, on charges of theft after 404,800 euros, 8,500 dollars and gold accessories were found in their home, which were hidden in the aspiration pipe of their apartment.

While Javier had several cars seized. Alda Klosi himself had filed the complaint for the theft of 120,000 euros, 30,000 dollars and jewelry. After the arrest, the "repentant" justice cleaner said that she took the 400,000 euros at the house of Alda Klos. One month later, in February 2023, the former official was arrested.
