Doctor Edmond Gashi gave a statement as a person under investigation by SPAK before a BKH investigator and the prosecutor of the Oncology file.
After his interrogation was completed, the doctor disputed the findings of the investigation, saying that he had not committed corruption.
"That's why I engaged in dual employment both in the state and in the clinic, in order not to be involved in bribery", claimed the doctor, according to which it turns out that he has carried out more interventions in the state for patients than in his private clinic.
Then the doctor showed that the patients chose and asked to be followed in his clinic as was the case of the patient made public during the investigation.
Gashi was accompanied by his lawyer Xhoi Nela, while during the past week the Special Court of Appeal has left some tasks to Spak for Oncology.
Among them is to show whether or not the director of the Oncology Department managed the situation properly, as subordinates carried out criminal activity by extorting patients.
One of these traces that the court wants to find is whether or not the director of Oncology sent a previous report to the prosecutor's office in Tirana, which finalized the criminal investigation by signing some security measures.
