Illegal immigrants in the UK who are expected to be sent to Rwanda while their asylum claims are processed are bypassing Home Office "parole" checks to avoid being rounded up and transported to Rwanda.

Thousands of people in Britain may have gone missing during the first three months of this year. The Daily Mail writes that among the missing are also 1,633 Albanians, who avoided checks, which are regularly carried out by phone or face to face at police stations.

An official internal Home Office briefing document last year warned of the risk of migrants disappearing "if the ability to trace people is outstripped by high demand".

Tim Loughton, Tory MP for East Worthing and Shoreham, warned in February of the possibility that a significant number of 33,085 illegal immigrants could disappear because they were not in secure deportation centres.

The article also mentions the case of a 28-year-old illegal Albanian immigrant who lived under surveillance. He learned the identity of an illegal Albanian immigrant, 28 years old, who lived "under the radar". He fears being put on a flight to Rwanda for the second time after a narrow crunch last summer.

He and six others were taken to the steps of a Home Office plane for deportation, but the flight was canceled following a last-minute ruling by the European Court of Human Rights.

He had been denied asylum despite claiming to be a victim of modern-day slavery who fled Albania to avoid being held by a drug gang, according to immigration court documents. He has deliberately lost contact with the Ministry of the Interior.
