The Chairperson of the Investigative Commission for Concessions in Health, Albana Vokshi, yesterday refused for the former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj to speak in front of the Commission and read the preliminary statement of his defense, as described in a powerpoint presentation.

She asked the former minister several times to give his statement and then answer the questions of the deputies, although this was also opposed by the socialist deputies.

Meanwhile, Beqaj went to the Assembly again today, but with a "plan b".

Instead of a powerpoint presentation, the former minister received a set of photos from the condition of the hospitals before the sterilization concession, i.e. in 2013.

Beqaj has prepared these photos that he intends to use during his statement to the investigative commission, replacing the presentation with powerpoint if it is not accepted to do so.
