The Girl from Elbasan: Sajmja Qordja

Sajmja Qordja, a girl from Elbasan, alarmed the residents of Astir this afternoon when she locked herself in her apartment and threatened to jump off the balcony.

The young woman was in a romance with a boy, who her family did not accept, claiming he was problematic.

They lived in a rented apartment (Airbnb), but had recently ended their relationship.

The father notified the police that his daughter had been kidnapped.

After intervention by RENEA, the young woman was safely removed from the apartment on the sixth floor of the building in the Astir area. She is expected to give her testimony.
