Some wiretaps were seized from two British citizens at Rinas airport. It is suspected that those devices may have been used for illegal wiretapping in our country.
The two Britons, P. T, 61, and CM, 46, engineers, have been released. They stayed in Albania for several days and before the investigators they stated that they enjoyed the equipment and did not intercept. According to them, those devices are radio receivers and have nothing to do with wiretapping.
The equipment was sent to the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana and then to the Scientific Laboratory of the State Police, where the expertise will be performed. Sources suggest that they have several waves that have access to interference in electronic communications.
