Saranda police have arrested three businessmen Fredi Mërkuri, Valter Llomi and Argonida Canaj, after they are accused of taking advantage of the alienation of 10 thousand square meters of state land in the coastal city and then built there. The land surface, before the alienation, served as a green space, a garden, for the city of Saranda.

Earlier, the blue uniforms were handcuffed by the director of Urban Planning of the Municipality of Saranda, Pandi Zhonga, the lawyer of ASHK Saranda, Rovena Alikaj and the notary Aleko Anagnosti.

They are suspected that through falsification of documents, approval of construction permits by the municipality of Saranda and subsequent mortgaging in the office of ACA Saranda, have alienated state land of 10 thousand square meters to businessmen.
