The Filipino was at home with his parents when he killed the Albanian student!
Ilaria Sula / Her Murderous Ex-Boyfriend

Mark Anthony Samson's parents were home when he killed Ilaria Sula, the Albanian girl who went missing on March 25 and was found dead inside a suitcase in Poli, Italy.

His father and mother, who have confessed to the crime, are not currently under investigation. Their position is being reviewed by the prosecutor, who is investigating the case. The 23-year-old, questioned by the public prosecutor, did not answer several questions: he said that he loaded Sula's body into the car, locked it in a suitcase and threw it over a cliff.

He threw the knife into a cistern in Montesacro, while the girl's smartphone was thrown into a well. The cellphone has not yet been found, and an autopsy on Sula's body will be performed tomorrow.

“I’m sorry for what I did,” Samson told the prosecutor, without providing any details about the dynamics of the crime or the motive. However, the investigation revealed that the 23-year-old had in fact put an alibi plan into action.

He sent messages to Sula's cell phone and then deleted her social media profiles. Not only that, he also went to the house the young woman shared with other girls, pretending to be concerned about her disappearance and seeking information about her whereabouts.

The attack took place in the house that Samson shared with his parents in the African neighborhood. On the evening of March 25, Ilaria Sula left the house and went to the apartment of her ex, with whom the relationship had ended shortly before.

There he stabbed her several times, killing her. He then loaded her body into his suitcase and threw it over a cliff. In an attempt to throw the investigation off track, he used her phone, posting Instagram stories that immediately appeared suspicious to those who knew him.

"We realized that it wasn't her who was posting those things," a friend of the girl explained to Fanpage.it. "When we saw that she posted an Instagram story with the words 'don't worry about me, I'm fine', we immediately realized that it wasn't her, she would never have posted a story with three words. We immediately thought of her ex, even if we didn't have proof. He was the person closest to her and we were even more alarmed," her friends said.
