The head of the government, Edi Rama, exchanged jokes with the head of the Albanian National Olympic Committee , Fidel Ylli and the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastriliu, during the recognition ceremony for the winners of the Olympic medals .

Rama said that the country has never had and will never find a government like this for sports.

While jokingly he added: " You must have a passion for sport, we don't lack it, but even when we fail a little, we have Fidel who is like natural doping, so natural doping that it has made Ogerta to be many times more attracted to sport than it was before".

"Fidel announced the ambition that in the next Olympic games we go to ask for more, this is a legitimate desire but it requires better support and organization, also what he said about the federations which are directly carriers of potential for us to we get more medals, it is very important and I assure you that we will support Fidel's plan with all our possibilities. To finance Fidel's plan 100% you must have the US budget.

A government like this for sports has never had a place before and will not find it again. It takes vision, we have it. You have to have a passion for sports, we don't lack it, but even when we fall a little we have Fidel who is like natural doping, so natural doping that he has also made Ogerta to be many times more attracted to sports than before . We definitely need support, I believe we have all this to make available to the sportsmen's federations and to start the support from the little ones.

So that Comrade Elez can decently continue the positive competition he has with Fidel, which derives from the time when it was fought over who were the smartest wrestlers or weightlifters, the most agile to be exact", said Rama.
