The Turkish artist donates the painting of Skanderbeg to the Museum of Kruja

The President of the International Watercolor Association, the well-known Turkish-Canadian artist Atanur Dogan, has donated to the Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu National Museum, a painting dedicated to the National Hero in honor of his date of birth 6 May 1405.

This painting was realized today, during the fourth edition of the International Watercolor Festival that is being held in Tirana.

What stands out is that while the famous artist of Turkish origin was painting, the students of the Artistic High School "Jordan Misja" in Tirana sang the national anthem, but also many songs known with patriotic notes such as "KLA March", "I got the word", etc.

The Watercolor Festival brings to Albania 200 artists from 40 countries, who exhibit their works in the premises of the National Historical Museum and the Art Gallery of Tirana. The works will remain open to the public until May 14, 2022. This activity is organized by the Vizart Cultural Association with the support of the Municipality of Tirana and the Ministry of Culture.
