State Police officers will receive a bonus for the end-of-year holidays. There are about 8 thousand of them, who belong to the basic role, while within this week the exact amount that each of them will benefit is expected to be approved at the meeting of the Council of Ministers.

The media writes that a value of 10 thousand to 15 thousand new lek is being discussed. Police chiefs and leaders, who have ranks higher than inspector, will not be part of this reward.

This is done with the aim of staying close to the category with the lowest salaries in the police, which is in the field every day, from difficult weather conditions to organizing protests and demonstrations.
