The German Federal Criminal Police Office, the BKA and Europol are searching for 34-year-old Albanian, Shpendi Malo.

Malo is suspected of murdering a 27-year-old Albanian man in September 2019 in Halle.

Malo killed the victim in a wooded area in Halle.

The victim was stabbed to death. According to police, the body was thrown into a nearby canal and covered with leaves to hide the crime. The body was discovered only four days later by passersby.

The perpetrator left Germany immediately after the crime and was placed on the international wanted list.

He turns out to be on Europol's list of the 20 most wanted criminals in Europe.

According to Chief Public Prosecutor Cernota, the investigation is still ongoing for unintentional murder.

However, this does not rule out the possibility of the murder being investigated at a later date.

So far, there is no trace of the wanted person.
