New details have emerged regarding the murder of 45-year-old Albanian woman, Gentiana Hudhra , in Italy.
Her ex-husband, Nikollaq Hudhra, has stated that he attempted three more times to kill the 45-year-old Albanian woman, but on the evening of June 14, he successfully finalized his unfortunate plan that took the Albanian's life.
It is reported that Gudhra had spent the day with his 21-year-old son, Mario.
He then took a scooter and headed towards the village center on Benadduci Street, where the attack took place.
He chose the scooter because the victim would recognize his car.
Gentiana, who worked as a caretaker, was talking on the phone with a friend when she was attacked from behind. The man stabbed her about 10 times with a 30-centimeter-long blade that he had previously hidden under his work clothes.
Then, he kicked the victim while he was on the ground.
"I did what I had to do, now call the police," Hudhra told the people at the scene.
During interrogation, he confessed to the crime and said he had planned to kill his ex-wife to "free his children."
“He wanted to poison me. I had to let him go.” Gudhra admitted that he had tried to kill him before, claiming: “It was the third time I wanted to do it.”
Other knives were also found in his car, one of which was wrapped in a plastic bag and tucked under his work overalls.
The prosecution has filed charges of premeditated murder, aggravated by cruelty and the fact that the victim is a woman.
Investigators are assessing whether a psychiatric examination will be required for the confessed perpetrator.
