The police have handcuffed a 34-year-old man, who is accused by the Kosovo authorities, of criminal activity in the field of narcotics.

The Basic Court of Peja has assigned Erion Etemajt the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of hashish plants, cocaine bushes or cannabis plants" and "Unauthorized purchase, possession and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances".

Interpol Tirana is cooperating with the Kosovar authorities, for the extradition of the 34-year-old.

Police notification:

Accused by the Kosovar authorities of criminal activity in the field of narcotics, the 34-year-old man was arrested in Elbasan and put in handcuffs with the intention of extradition to Kosovo.

As a result of the information provided by the structures of the Elbasan Police Station and the exchange of this information between Interpol Tirana and law enforcement agencies in Kosovo, it became possible to capture the wanted citizen in the village of Papër and arrest him with the purpose of extradition to Kosovo. international: EE, 34 years old, resident in Elbasan.

The Basic Court of Peja, with the decision dated 30.10.2024, assigned to this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of hashish plants, cocaine bushes or cannabis plants" and "Purchasing, possession and unauthorized sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances", provided by the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

Interpol Tirana is cooperating with the Kosovar authorities, for the extradition of the 34-year-old.
