New details from the arrest of a 23-year-old man from Durrës, who allegedly deprived him of his freedom for several hours, as well as violently assaulted his 17-year-old girlfriend.

The arrest was made by the police of Commissariat No. 6 immediately after the denunciation.

The 23-year-old identified as Bred Llaftiu was arrested in Xhafzotaj of Durrës, where he lived, Tirana police informed today.

"From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the 23-year-old man was taken by force in his vehicle, depriving him of his freedom for several hours, as well as violently assaulting his 17-year-old girlfriend," the police announcement states.

Meanwhile, police station No. 2 arrested a resident of Tirana with the initials MH, after allegedly sexually harassing a 15-year-old minor.
