The Tirana court today (September 9) set the security measure of "arrest in prison" for Klajdi Haka, the cousin of Marklen Haka, who was arrested two days ago (September 7) as part of a police operation in Nikël.
In front of the jury, the 21-year-old refused to speak or give an explanation for the charges brought against him.
Against Haka, the court brought two charges, "carrying weapons without a permit" and "supporting the perpetrator of the crime".
Yesterday, the security measure with prison was also given to his cousin, Marklen Haka, named as the leader of the "Nikla Gang" group.
During the police operation to capture Marklen Haka, who was kept under surveillance by the blue uniforms for days, the latter was found hiding in the apartment of Klajdi Haka.
In the apartment of the 21-year-old, the police services found a firearm during the physical check, for this reason, he was charged with possession of a weapon without a permit.
A day ago, the Special Anticorruption Court upheld the "prison arrest" measure given in absentia to Marklen Haka (arrested on September 6), accused of several serious crimes, among them the failed attempt on Durim Bamit, a criminal offense that he denied, giving an alibi for another location at the time of the crime. Haka said he had not used the SKY app.
Marklen Haka was announced as wanted within the coded operation "Revenge", for alliances and enmity with several criminal groups, as he was previously suspected of assassination attempts on Gentjan Bejtja, who was killed on March 15 in Fushë-Kruje, but also for other events.
Arrested, convicted and released several times over the years, among them an accusation of murdering a chrome businessman a decade ago.
