Ermir Meta from Çorovoda

The Greek police today arrested a 31-year-old Albanian, accused of being a member of two of the three gangs of Zografou Polytechnic, which were led by the Albanian known by the nickname "Esko". Citizen Ermir Meta from Çorovoda is in handcuffs.

Meta, the former convict of the so-called "Kalashnikov Gang", appeared in the media on October 1, where he excused himself by saying that he had no connection with this gang that was destroyed in Greece, while also operating at the Polytechnic University of Athens.

The Campus Gang, to which the 31-year-old Albanian was a member, committed robberies with particular cruelty and trafficked drugs, while its members are also accused of robberies that had occurred earlier.

Some of the members of this gang were arrested on October 10, in Kypseli. The "Kalashnikov gang", where the Albanian was a member before, robbed houses in the southern suburbs and raped women.
