NAME/ 42-year-old man sentenced to prison loses his life in Shkodra Hospital!

Gjevalin Ndue Lika, 42 years old, passed away this evening at the Shkodra Regional Hospital as a result of cardiac arrest.

He was urgently taken to the hospital after receiving first aid from the Lezha Prison health service.

Shkodra Police announce that Gjevalin Lika suffered from schizophrenia and was being treated with the medication Resperidone.

As of 2021, he was serving his sentence in Lezha prison, after being transferred from Kruja Prison. 

The 42-year-old was arrested by police in 2015 for domestic violence and was held under compulsory medical supervision, ordered by the Tirana Court.

Convicted citizen Gjevalin Lika dies at Shkodra Regional Hospital 

Gjevalin Ndue Lika, 42 years old, passed away at the Shkodra Regional Hospital as a result of a cardiac arrest. He was urgently taken to the hospital after receiving first aid from the Lezha Prison Health Service.

The General Directorate of Prisons offers its condolences to the family for the untimely loss of their loved one.
