A 23-year-old Albanian man is being tried in Britain for stealing the luxury residence of Chelsea footballer Raheem Sterling, who represented England in the World Cup.

Emiliano Krosi is alleged to have taken part in 33 robberies, including the burglary of the attacker's home worth around £7m in London in December 2022.

According to the police, during the raid, jewelry and watches worth 300,000 pounds were stolen. In the first session of the process, the Albanian did not give statements about the accusation, but only confirmed his identity.

He arrived late to court after the van that was transporting him from prison broke down on the way.
