The police have reacted regarding a video posted on social networks, where a truck can be seen performing a wrong overtaking on the "Elbasan-Librazhd" road axis, in the segment where overtaking is not allowed and in a turn with the risk of causing an accident. 

The driver of the truck was identified by the police and was fined 32,000 new lek.

POLICE NOTICE:

In relation to a video posted on the "JOQ" portal, in which a truck is shown making a wrong overtaking on the "Elbasan-Librazhd" road axis, in the segment where overtaking is not allowed and in a dangerous turn to be involved in traffic incident, we inform you that:

The services of the Road Traffic Sector of DVP Elbasan have identified the driver of the truck, a citizen of AR, and imposed on him the administrative measure of 32,000 new lek, based on article 146, points 10 and 16, on article 141, point 10, and in article 127, point 3, of the Road Code.

The Elbasan Local Police Directorate invites citizens to report any violation of traffic rules to the number 112 and to the Digital Police Station, and guarantees them that it will react immediately and in accordance with the law.
