Former Socialist MP Piro Lutaj has responded to the head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, who published a document calling Kosovo's national hero, Tahir Sinani, a mercenary.

He says he is speechless.

"Dear friends!

Please, can someone explain to me what connection the situations or protests in Albania today, after almost 30 years, could have with someone's involvement or not in active KLA formations?

Well, my dears, is there really anyone in Albania who would believe and refer to the perversity of any "old man" or our Taho?

The posting and prejudice of a list of names of fighters, at the top of which stands Tahir Sinani, one of the icons of the KLA, hero of three wars for the liberation of Albanian lands, whose statues illuminate the place between Prizren and the capital of the Gjakova Highlands, the city of Bajram Curri, have left me speechless!

I personally, on this issue, agree with the post made yesterday by General Fatmir Limaj!

"Freedom has a name," he writes.

Sinan's daughter also reacted harshly to Balla the day before.

"Today you killed my father for the second time," she wrote, demanding a public apology from Balla and emphasizing that the name of Tahir Sinan is known and respected by all Albanians.

In her reaction, Rugova Sinani also criticized the KLA War Veterans Organization, demanding that this organization focus on protecting the rights of veterans, families of martyrs and the values ​​of war, and not on political involvement.

She described as serious the fact that, according to her, the martyr's family is facing such a situation nearly 25 years after the fall of Tahir Sinan, considering this an insult to the sacrifice and blood of the martyrs of the freedom struggle.
