Tirana Police have announced a search for a person suspected of having physically assaulted the director of the National Waste Management Agency ( AKEM ), an institution under the Ministry of Environment.

The incident is suspected to have occurred after a conflict related to the dismissal of the wanted citizen.

He is reported to have waited for the director outside the ministry premises, where he initially had a verbal argument and then threatened and punched him.

Following the incident, authorities immediately launched investigations and worked to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator.
